Super Matt Oyster Kitchen - Skipton

The design brief was to create a family kitchen come dining area by combining two seperate rooms. A flat slab super matt door in oyster teamed with a granite worktop offers a light reflecting surface. The new kitchen includes a return island area with curved end base units. The space is now a light and airy social entertainment space.

The Skipton Kitchen Company removed the original wall between the old kitchen and dining room and re-instated the wall between the new dining room and lounge.

Under unit lighting provides a neat task light over the hob and food preparation area.

Clever use of space:

Original under stair storage cupboard has been adapted to maximise the use of space to house the double oven and microwave. An additional pan drawer neatly sits under the double oven.

An old doorway from the study into the kitchen area has been adapted to house the tall Fridge/Freezer which sits flush in the bespoke space.
