| "Michael helped us with every stage of our new Kitchen. From the design, where he would make suggestions on layout and keeping the kitchen functional. He would listen to our thoughts and amend his plans to what we asked, if he thought it was not a great idea, he would explain why it might not and suggest alternatives to achieve what we wanted. Most kitchen suppliers made us design a kitchen and then gave us a huge quote. Offering a discount to try and make us feel like it is a good deal. With Michael, we gave him our budget and he kept with it. Our kitchen ended up being less expensive than the more well-known kitchen suppliers we got quotes from, but it feels much nicer to us. Installation was faster than we had anticipated and once he had finished the initial install, he pointed out snags with the kitchen and returned as soon as he got new parts from suppliers. design & quotation stage through to final completion we were very impressed
with Michaels' enthusiasm and creativity! He transformed what was
a pretty bland and dysfunctional kitchen into two dynamic, complimentary
areas...a kitchen and a dining area...which flow into each other seamlessly.
The previously remote Aga was also fully integrated into the kitchen area through

"From concept to realisation, Michael's work has been
outstanding. His ability to guide us through the process of choosing the best
quality products and fittings for our new kitchen whilst keeping within budget
and adding flourishes that make the kitchen really ours is remarkable. His
ability to attend to not only the fitting, but also the adapting of electrical,
lighting and plumbing services has made the whole job far less complex than
dealing with individual contractors. |
"In early 2015 we decided to have a new kitchen and did some research. After visiting most of the 'big brands' it became obvious that quality was patchy, sales staff were inexperienced, on commission and knew nothing about installation, plumbing and electrics. Amazingly, several came up with a price without even visiting our home. Eventually we went local and met Michael from The Skipton Kitchen Company. He was enthusiastic, experienced, had a 'can do' attitude and a good relationship with a local plasterer and an electrician. Surprisingly, his estimate was the same and in some cases less than the big brands yet the quality of the cabinets, worktops, cupboards and installation etc was much better. The installation of a maple fronted Kitchen totally transformed the
kitchen into a modern bright functional space. The units and worktops
